Brass is an Alloy in Precious Metals. It is crafted by combining Copper dust and Zinc dust. After being smelted into bars it can either be made into decorative bricks by putting them in a 2x2 square in the crafting grid or into coins by placing a bar in a mint. Brass has the lowest yield of coins, at 1 coin per bar. It can also be crafted into a brass chest by surrounding a chest with brass ingots in the crafting grid or tools and armor.
